I'm embarking on a new adventure. Although my next novel will be published in January, and it's done except another round of editing, I'm working on a new mystery in collaboration with Brenda Sevcik, an author whose style is quite engaging. I'm quite excited about it because it allows us to concentrate on our strengths. Brenda brings a woman's sensitivity to the female characters and creates a more sensory atmosphere for the reader to experience, along with a command of language I wish I had.
It's a story that is based on an event torn from the front page headlines of the Atlanta newspapers. I don't want to tip you off just yet by telling you more, but it's a story that will grab your gut and your heart, and twist them until you're shaken and exhausted.
